For as long as I can remember, I have loved reading. I think the first official books of the MNW Library were my Junie B. Jones books. I own every book in the series except for two, but those were published my senior year of high school and by that time, I was out of the loop of JBJ. However, I remained a JBJ fan well beyond my elementary school years. In college, my mother took me to a Junie B. Jones play and it was wonderful! I was the only adult in the audience without a kid of their own 😂 but it was still a good time. In addition to Junie B., I tried to include novels that I felt were special to me in a way that makes me...me. Coming of age novels like Perks of Being a Wallflower and Stargirl spoke to the shy girl inside me. Black Buck and Queenie were two of the first adult fiction novels I read. I have also included a 1997 Penguin Christmas Wagon that my grandmother gave me. This is special to me because I was born in 1997! This shelf is a journey into how MNWLIB came to be.💛
