My theme for this shelf was centered around two things: book clubs and women YA authors (although a few men authors have snuck in here LOL). It has a brother shelf with a similar theme and these two shelves are probably two that I am most proud of. I gave them both very prominent spots on the bookshelf! These are some of the BEST stories I've read! Middle school years were the best years for reading to me. Not only did my middle school library have the best books, I was also in a book club called Lit Wits. We read YA novels that were nominated for the Sequoyah Book Awards, an annual award in Oklahoma given to books voted on by the community that read them (and yes my book club voted on the ones we read that year!).
